Introduction
Upon selecting Sales from the navigation bar, you will be presented with a tabbed view that includes Leads, Opportunities, and Quotations. You can easily switch between the Opportunities and Quotations list views by selecting the corresponding tabs.
The Sales module serves as the primary module for sales representatives, as it focuses on managing the sales pipeline and tracking progress through the various stages of the sales process.
- By clicking on the filter button, a sidebar will be displayed on the right side of the screen. Where you can filter according to the status, Lead Owner, Type, Title, Subtitle, territory, Creation Date Range, Updation date range.
- By clicking on the Search button, on the left side of the filter button, it will expand into a search bar where you can search according to your need.
- You can also see a download icon, using which you can download the list as the xls format.
- By clicking the View button at the right side of the screen, a dropdown menu is displayed, containing the list of all the previews, which you can select to view in the list.
- Below the records, user can see total number of records, a button displaying number of rows per page, and different pages are present in the footer. By this user can easily access to records as per their convenience.
Creating Leads
When creating a lead, there are two options:
Create lead for an existing company or create a new company and add lead details for the same.
User can create new company by a toggle button, on the top right corner on the create lead page. And if you want to add a lead to an existing company then you need to keep the toggle off. In the create lead form all the fields with (*) are mandatory to be filled.
If user is adding a company as well as lead, following are the sections which needs to be filled

Company Details: It includes basic details of company, name, territory, website, Description, Industry, Employee range, and revenue of company.

Company Contact Details: It Includes company address, contact number and email id.

Lead Details: It includes basic details and specific to a lead, status, lead owner, source, type(offerings), meeting date, nexrt contact date, and expected closing date.

Contacts: By clicking on ‘Add a Contact’ button, a form will be displayed which contains input fields for contact information of the person whom a lead owner is connected with for the lead. Here, users get two option, they can create a new contact or they can switch on the toggle button to choose existing contacts from the exisiting company (this will only happen, if a lead is created for the exisiting company).
After creating a lead, below is the view:

On the top, there is an overview details of the lead from which it can be easily identified lead type.
Below this there is a progress bar which defines the sales pipeline which is from lead to opportunity to quotation.
Below that you can see a tab view which will have different tabs namely Details, Contacts, Tasks and Activities, Documents, Notes, SPIN, and Scoring. These are related to a particular lead.
Details
- After clicking on Details tab, you may see different lead details sections, General details and company details. To edit these sections user can click on the edit icon, located at the right-hand side of the all the details section. Once you are done with editing you can save and update the details by clicking on the Submit button.
Contact
- In the contact tab, a user will see all the contacts listed down for a particular lead.
- User can add contact from "New Contact" button on the right side of the contact details.
- Two options will be visible to the user, one they can add new contact, second they can add exisiting contact, which is linked with the company but not with this Lead/opportunity/quotation.
- After adding necessary contact details in the list, user can see its preview in the contact list view.
- Here in the action section of the contact list, after clicking it, a dropdown will appear which contains option to edit, and set the contact as primary contact.
- If the option ‘set as primary’ is selected by you, a blue box containing the word primary will be displayed in front of your name. (primary contact is the person who is the conversation with the lead owner and is the main SPOC)
- If you wish to change the details in the contact, you can click on edit and a window similar to ‘add contact’ will be displayed from where it can edit the contact.
Task and Activities
- The Next tab is the Task and Activities Tab which has different sections.
- Tasks Section, Tasks needs to be completed to convert a lead, opportunity or quotation to next stage. These tasks are configurable by the admin in the master configuration.
- User can send emails to the lead by clicking on the "new email" option.
- User can set auto-follow ups on sent email by selecting toggle button in the bottom of the edit email form. Here you can select follow up sequences already configured by the admin from the admin access.
- Once set, user can se "edit active workflow" on the right side, user can click and make the necessary changes.
- Actitvities Section, shows all the activities done for a lead, opportunity and quotation.
- Email Log Section, this section can be viewed in detail by clicking on the "view all", it will re-direct you to email logs where a user can see all the history of the emails sent.
Documents
- By clicking on the documents tab, you can see multiple types of documents, which is, Case Studies, Legal, Knowledge, General, Proposal.
- These documents are specified to the lead, opportunity and quotation.
- Documents can be uploaded by "upload document" button on the right side of search bar, a form will appear where you can upload the documents.
- By Specifying the document type it can be categorized into one of 5 different types (CASE_STUDIES, LEGAL, KNOWLEDGE, GENERAL, PROPOSALS).
- Upload the document which you want to upload from "choose file" option, you may also want to give some tags to a document to identify easily later on.
- User can also select upload multiple files for a bulk upload.
- Upon clicking the submit button, the document will be uploaded and displayed in the list in the documents tab.
- Documents will be displayed in their documents tab termed case studies, legal, knowledge, general and proposals.
Notes
- To create a new note, click on add note button and a tab will be displayed on the right handside of the page.
- Add notes as per your need and click on add button.
- After saving, notes will be displayed on the left handside for a user to view, edit, and delete.
- Edit and delete the notes by clicking on the edit icon and delete icon respectively.
When all the tasks of a lead is completed, there is an option to convert the lead into opportunity. Convert button will be visible on the top right corner of the page
Once clicked on the convert button, user needs to fill necessary details, and there are some mandatory questions as (*) to be filled.
Opportunities
In Opportunity, all the functionality is same as lead. Following are the additional functionality for opportunity stage:

In Details Tab, there is Specifications section which is based upon the title of the lead.

These details are specified to the title which can be refered by user in future and these are editable.

Opportunity details section consists of the details of the opportunities such as the name of the person it is converted by, the date which it was received on and the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) parameter. By clicking on the edit icon, you can edit the details.
Quotations
In Quotation, all the functionality is same as lead and opportunity. Following are the additional functionality for quotation stage:
Upon clicking any of the given company from the list, editing quotation page will be displayed which will look like the image given below:
In the details tab just below the navbar a section called response type and a ‘convert’ button is present.
• The Response type indicates how the client or prospect has responded to the quotation or proposal that has been sent to them. • When all the tasks present in ‘task and activities log’ have been completed, then the option to convert the quotation will be visible. • After clicking the convert button, a form appears as shown in the image below:
This form contains a number of inputs like PO Number, PO currency, PO amount, Status, Project Title, Project Subtitle, Account Manager, Start Date, End Date, Delivery manager, Contract type, delivery type, Project Location, Billing type, Biling Currency, Billing Amount, Resources Count, Industry, Remark, tags and Client SPOC.
After filling in all the details, the form will be submitted.
• Here, a section called Quotation details is added just above the general details and company details section. • It contains fields such as Converted By, Valid till, expected closing date and amount. • By clicking on the edit icon , you can edit the quotation details. • The taskbar in Quotations page contains an extra section called as proposals as shown in the image below: • After the lead has been converted and the project has been created, the above section will also contain the Project tab which will contain the details of the project.
By clicking on the proposals, you will be greeted with a section like:
On clicking the download template, a template for the proposal request will be downloaded. On the right side of the screen, there is a ‘send proposal email’ button, by clicking on that button a window will open from where you can write and send an email.
The send proposal request button on the right of download template button will let you send a proposal to the company. Only the lead can send the proposal.
